Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has refused to appear before the inquiry committee formed by Pakistan Television to investigate his argument on a live TV show with host Dr Nauman Niaz.  “The whole world saw the condescending behavior of Dr Nauman, and I won’t appear before the committee unless he is removed as the show host,” said Akhtar.  On October 28, PTV administration formed a committee to investigate the argument between Dr Nauman Niaz and Shoaib Akhtar which happened during the TV show Game On Hai, after the match between Pakistan and New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup concluded October 26.  PTV Managing Director Aamer Manzoor met Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry and presented him the initial finding of the inquiry committee.  Chaudhry also met with former West Indies batsman Vivian Richards and former English batsman David Gower.  Richards and Gower were co panelists in the show where the argument between Dr Nauman and Akhtar took place.  Both Gower and Richards regretted the incident saying that transmission was being conducted in a friendly manner and the incident shouldn’t have happened.  In a separate development, Gower and Richards also met Prime Minister Imran Khan.  Earlier, PTV decided to keep Dr Nauman Niaz and Shoaib Akhtar off-air until the inquiry into their argument on a live TV show is concluded. ڈاکٹر نعمان نیاز اور شعیب اختر معاملہ۔ pic.twitter.com/slPvxMIKOE — PTV News (@PTVNewsOfficial) October 28, 2021 Both of them won't be a part of any show on PTV until the inquiry is completed and the facts are ascertained, said the national television. In one of the videos, Shoaib is crediting Harris Rauf’s discovery to the Pakistan Super League franchise Lahore Qalandars.  Confusion starts he when goes on to talk about Harris Rauf. “We must give credit to Lahore Qalandars,” said Shoaib. Noman Niaz interjects asking if he was talking about Harris Rauf, Shoaib replies “No, Shaheen Shah Afridi…. This was the guy who was brought by Aaqib Javed, and Lahore Qalandars and PDD, Players Development Programme,” said Shoaib. As he went on to talk about Haris Rauf, a visibly offended Nauman Niaz cut in by arguing that Shaheen had played U19 cricket. “I am talking about Harris Rauf,” Shoaib clarifies. If that wasn’t enough, Nauman repeated that he was saying it on-air that Shoaib could leave the show. He then ignored Shoaib and abruptly moved over to the next guest. And before Shoaib could address Nauman’s behaviour, he cut the show to a break. “Lots of apologies, guys, lots of apologies,” Shoaib says in another clip apparently from when the show returned. “I am resigning from PTV, and the way I was behaved with on national television I don’t think I should be sitting here right now. Thank you very much.” @shoaib100mph is our pride, no one can insult him on National TV. I tried my best to repair the damage during the show.”  Shoaib added that he tried to save everyone from embarrassment. and seniors and millions watching. Both are respectable for us and they should conduct a joint session publicly to resolve the issue. We cant afford such things as a nation.

Apparently Dr. Noman misbehaved. So he has to say sorry on air. Otherwise a strict action should be taken by PTV against him. We are tax payers and in this way partners in state TV. No-one has right to insult National heroes publicly on our tax money.

Anchor is older then Shoaib, and they are old friends. That is probably why he didnt think twice about what words were coming from his mouth.

Yanee kisee dost ko galee dou, especially if you are older he wont mind, chalta hai.

Anchor shouldnt have forgotten that having foreigners sitting their and would make this not like some lockerroom room chat.

Apology sai anchor kamtar nahee hoga. Friends mai appology and everything chalta hai, dont think about “ooh mainay uss kai liyay itna kiya, usnai itna thora kiya”. Measuring like this wont allow your friendship to be endurable. Dostee mai koi hisaab kitaab nahee.

    Duain aap dono ki liyay

Shoaib refers in English the culprits sitting in the middle. Which culprits – Gower, Host or Aaqib? Then he asks host if he watched the match today or if showed up for work today. Rude if you ask me, but I understand English.
