Actor turned morning show host Nida Yasir and her husband, Yasir Nawaz, celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on Tuesday in self-isolation at home after testing positive for coronavirus.
The celebrity couple is in self-isolation along with their daughter for 14 days after tested positive for COVID-19.
Nida and Yasir turned to Instagram to share the pictures from cake cutting ceremony on the 13th day of their quarantine.
Nida wrote, “Ab to adat si he mujh ko. Happy 18th Anniversary.”
Before posting pictures from the celebrations, the couple went live on Instagram to update their fans about their health. They also asked peopel to stop spreading fake news about them.
“The reason to go live is to tell you all that we are doing good and people are spreading fake news that our condition is very critical,” said Nida. “Another reason we went live is to tell you all that it’s our 18th anniversary.”
Nida added that once she’s back on her morning show, she will share all the homemade remedies she’s been using to fight the coronavirus in self-isolation.
“We are taking zam zam water, lemonade, Kalonji and herbal teas to cure the coronavirus,” said Nida. “I will share all these remedies regarding COVID-19 that helped us once I get to my morning show.”
Yasir added that during this self-isolation period, their neighbours helped them a lot and took care of them.
The couple shared that during this quarantine they’ve been binge-watching Eutugrul and the drama keeps them going.
On May 25, Nida Yasir confirmed that she, her husband and daughter had tested positive for the virus and were isolating themselves at home.
