The year 2020 has been a really sad one for Bollywood after the industry lost some of its brightest stars. It lost another young and talented actor.
Actor Mohit Baghel, best known for playing Amar Chaudhary in superstar Salman Khan’s Ready, passed away on Saturday after losing the battle against cancer. He was just 26 years old.
The news of his demise was confirmed by writer and director Raaj Shaandilyaa.
“He is gone too soon. He was undergoing treatment for cancer in Delhi’s AIIMS hospital for six months. I spoke to him last on 15 May and at that time he said he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend”, said Shaandilyaa.
Mohit Baghel also acted in films Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami and Gali Gali Chor Hai.
Baghel belongs to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and was born in 1993. It was his love for acting that drew him to Mumbai. He began his career in showbiz in the comedy show Chote Miyan. For the unversed, Mohit and Raaj shared a great bond who had signed him for his next project.
