Anoushey Ashraf received an Eid greeting from Engin Altan Duzyatan, the actor who plays Ertugrul in popular Turkish series Dirilis:Ertugrul, but sadly she missed the call.

Ashraf later shared a video message on her Instagram from her Turkish friend Murat and the Ertugrul actor. She said this was the best surprise and Eid gift ever by her friend.

She remarked that she missed the call with Engin and her friend Murat because her phone was on silent mode.

“When you MISS a facetime call with the handsome and Uber talented Ertugrul aka @enginaltandzytn because you’re meditating and your phones on silent,” said Ashraf.

She also praised the drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul and thanked the actor for bringing a smile on her face.

“Been watching the series and loving it so far, good job you guys! ❤️❤️you guys made me smile this sombre Eid. Thank you @murattarman for being a star and the best human. Can’t wait to see you soon! Sending love and Eid greetings to Turkey,” said she.

In another post on Wednesday, Ashraf announced that she is taking a mini-break from social media. “This is going to be tough for me but I’m gonna give it a shot. Just a week of zero social media,” reads the caption.

The break is to realign, reflect, read, rest and to restore. Earlier, she took to social media to reveal that she is taking a time off and travelling as her anxiety is ‘getting out of control’.
