What Netflix’s Bard of Blood gets wrong about Pakistan

Netflix has just released a spy thriller starring Emraan Hashmi. The web series, based on Bilal Siddiqi’s book, is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.

Hashmi plays a dishonourably discharged R&AW agent Kabir Anand, who takes on a covert rescue mission in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

Samaa Digital’s reporter Roohan Ahmed caught a few things that went horribly wrong.

Roohan sahab, I am an Indian, I have recently watched this series and it didn’t really impress me either. Your video was quite interesting and your style of speaking was actually warm and totally non-threatening. I hope both of the countries somehow grow out of this toxic animosity and be like many other countries in the west who have fought wars historically but are now not only friends but with porous borders.
    May God Bless you
