People everywhere are anxiously anticipating the much-awaited Season 8 of Game of Thrones and Pakistanis are no different.
Easy by Fatsos, a restaurant located in Karachi’s DHA, has introduced special Westeros-themed doughnuts for Game of Thrones addicts.
A server at Easy said the restaurant decided to introduce these doughnuts due to the popularity of the show. They have the same classic Easy flavours but with with edible designs on top.
Quick to jump on the bandwagon, The Sauce Burger Café in Karachi has shared a mock trailer of “Game of Potatoes” on their Facebook page and introduced a new limited edition item on their menue — GOT fries. Fans will be live screening the first episode and the rest of the season at Work Hall near Metropole.
But these aren’t the only businesses to introduce GOT-themed products.
Rooh Afza hasn’t released a special GOT product but it has published a pretty funny ad on its Instagram page.
Nabisco has introduced Game of Thrones Oreos called a Song of Creme and Chocolate, Urban Decay has dropped a Game of Thrones-inspired collection that will let the show’s spirit live on (at least in your makeup kit). Adidas has even teamed up with the series to release a six-piece set of co-created Ultra Boosts, inspired by six of the show’s most prominent houses or groups of characters ie Night’s Watch, the White Walkers, House Targaryen, the Targaryen’s dragons, House Stark, and House Lannister.
Announcements have also been made about a GOT soundtrack from the Weeknd, Travis Scott, and SZA.
With the much awaited Season 8 of Game of Thrones releasing today (April 14), the hype for the return of the Night King is immense.
This, however, will be the shortest season so far with only six episodes this time but there is still no reason to feel down because some episodes may be even longer than an hour. Now all fans can finally say Winter has come.
