To preserve the centuries-old Kalash culture, the KP government has launched a new project to restore the old houses and historical placed located in Chitral.
People of Kalash are known for their unique traditions and style of living.
They are also considered to be Pakistan's smallest ethno-religious community, practising a religion which some scholars characterise as a form of animism and other academics as "a form of ancient Hinduism".
