Intermediate exams have begun across Sindh.

Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code imposed around exam centres.

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has set up 188 examination centres where over 215,800 students are sitting for their papers. It has also declared 59 centres ‘sensitive’.

The first paper of the day was the first year botany exam. The commerce paper for regular and private first year students is scheduled for the afternoon.

The board has banned all people who aren’t students or school staff from the centres. This includes the media.
