Six Pakistani companies to be listed in Financial Times Index

BRITAIN-EUROPE-STOCKS-LONDON

KARACHI: Pakistan’s six companies are now set to be listed on the Financial Times Stock Exchange’s (FTSE) Global Equity Index.

FTSE is a London-based provider of indexes, which helps international investors track their funds at bourses worldwide.

FTSE included Habib Bank, Mari Petroleum, Searle Pakistan, Engro Fertilizers, Fauji Cement and Nishat Mills from Pakistan into its Global Equity Index Series Asia Pacific excluding Japan.

Listing of these six corporations on FTSE Global Equity Index will officially be made on March 20, 2017.
