OGRA recommends fresh hike in petrol price

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) today forwarded a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum suggesting changes in oil prices.

According to sources, OGRA has recommended the ministry to increase petrol price by Rs1.34/litre and high speed diesel by 35 paisas/litre.

In addition, the authority has proposed a cut in prices of kerosene oil, high octane oil and light diesel.

Sources add that it has also recommended that current prices can be retained by reducing petroleum levy. – SAMAA
