Imran Abbas has been approached by an Indian filmmaker for the lead role in a Bollywood film, he revealed during Samina Peerzada’s talk show.
Mumbai-based filmmaker Abhinav Shiv Tiwari reportedly reached out to Abbas for his next film, reported Gulf News. However, this will only be possible if Bollywood removes the ban on Pakistani artists.
Tiwari directed X: Past is Present in 2015 with 10 directors, which is considered his best work.
Abbas made his Bollywood debut with horror movie Creature 3D in 2014. He also made a special appearance in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The actor, however, declined Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzarish, Aashqui 2 and Ram Leela earlier which he regrets. He said on Peerzada’s show that he regretted declining the offers at that time but he doesn’t have any remorse now.
To get his perspective right about what projects to take after doing a Bollywood film that didn’t do well at the box office, Abbas shared that he later realised it was important to decline a few projects.
The actor is known for his good looks and acting skills and is also set to star in a Hollywood film as a spy of Syrian-Moroccan descent.
