Vardhan Puri, the grandson of Bollywood legend Amresh Puri, is all set to make his acting debut with a yet-untitled thriller by producer Jayantilal Gada.
According to the Times of India, the film is expected to roll in September and will be shot in North India.
Vardhan has also confirmed that he would be making his acting debut in Gada’s next movie.
“It’s a performance-oriented role and in terms of treatment it will be in a space similar to [Hollywood actor Ben Affleck’s psychological thriller] ‘Gone Girl’,” Vardhan said.
He said whatever he does, he does for his late grandfather.
Varun said ‘Virasat’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘Mr India’ and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ are his favourite movies of the late veteran.
