Sonam Kapoor becomes language teacher of Akshay Kumar

MUMBAI: In a recently released motion poster of a new upcoming public awareness movie, Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor are seen safely perched at a bullock cart and looking all cheerful.

The 50-year busy bee, who is playing the lead role in the flick PadMan, released a new motion poster of the movie as a treatment for his fans.

In the clip that was shared on Twitter handle of the Rustom star, co-star Khoobsurat actress Sonam Kapoor is seen teaching Akshay the spelling of PadMan.

In his earlier art meets social issues movie ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, the Khiladi was seen fighting against open defecation.

With Padman, Khiladi is all set to lend his voice to another social cause, i.e. menstrual hygiene issues in India.

In this social cuase movie, Akshay will play the role of Tamil Nadu based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low-cost sanitary pads and fought for menstrual hygiene.

Helmed by R. Balki, the movie also features Radhika Apte in central role.
