LOS ANGELES: Dwayne Johnson-starring Hollywood flick “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” made a strong start at the US box office.
An American entertainment website stated that the flick made a solid start with an estimated box office collection of $ 7 million to $ 8 million on its opening day at 3765 North American cinema house as per the estimates on Wednesday.
The film is expected to earn $ 45 million and $ 55 million in the next six days.
“The Greatest Showman” which stars Hugh Jackman earned $ 3 million and would collect $ 20 million during the holiday season.
Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is likely to dominate the US Box Office as it has already roped in $ 261.9 million since its release.
