I refuse to be a victim due to the lack of a male figure: Komal Aziz Khan

KARACHI: Pakistani actress Komal Aziz Khan said on Monday that she owed it to society to stand up to wadera culture, urging society to join hands with her to ensure justice prevails. 

In a lengthy Facebook post, Komal Aziz Khan narrated the entire incident that took place in Florida Apartments in DHA, Karachi where her landlord Jahanzaib Shahani allegedly assaulted her sister.

“I owe it to this society to stand up to wadera culture. I reject the idea of sealing my lips in the face of absolute cruelty,” she wrote in a lengthy Facebook post.  “I refuse to be a victim due to the lack of a male figure in my life. And I implore you to do the same. Let’s all stand together for our joint rights and let’s all for once, overthrow these goons who desperately need to be taught a lesson,” she added.

Komal claimed that Jahanzaib Shahani had fled his house and run off to Hyderabad where he was currently hiding. According to the actress, Shahani had deactivated all his social media accounts since he was on the run.

“Jahanzaib Shahani and his family have escaped from their house which is located just down the street from Florida homes and run off to Hyderabad. He has also deactivated his social media accounts,” she stated.

She also posted unpaid maintenance records of Florida Homes apartment number M-82 along with the flat’s outstanding CBC bills.

In the end, she urged society to join hands and teach such nefarious elements a lesson.

“I implore you to do the same. Let’s all stand together for our joint rights and let’s all for once, overthrow these goons who desperately need to be taught a lesson.”
