Hema Malini is one of those actors who doesn’t age; they become more graceful with the passage of time. She made her debut in the late 60s while has been active on the scene since with occasional breaks to concentrate on her political career. On her 69th Birthday, let’s take a look at Bollywood’s Dream Girl and the way she transformed over the years.

In the 1960s, Hema Malini did a couple of flicks that established her as a rising star; Waris (1968 with Jeetendra) and Jahan Pyar Mile (1969 with Shashi Kapoor) made the audience aware of a young girl who had the looks of a diva and could dance her heart out, be it Eastern or Western dances.

The 1970s saw her become the Dream Girl of Bollywood; every actor wanted to work with her and a few were even interested in marrying her – Sanjeev Kumar and Dharmendra.
