Bollywood actor reacts to Junaid Jamshed’s loss

MUMBAI: Tributes and condolences continued to pour in on social media as soon as Pakistani media broke the news of death of singer-turned-evangelist Junaid Jamshed in a PIA plane crash yesterday.

Popular social networking websites including Facebook and Twitter were flooded with tweets of shock over Junaid Jamshed’s tragic death.

Among others who paid tributes to the Islamic scholar were Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor and top Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle.

“RIP. My Condolences to the bereaved families of the PIA Flight crash. We lost an artist in Junaid Jamshed. May God Bless all! Ameen,” Rishi Kapoor tweeted.

Harsha Bhogle also recalled his encounter with the former pop star.

“I met Junaid Jamshed in June this year with @wasimakramlive . He was extremely courteous and hospitable. And he sang that evening,” Bhogle wrote. – Web Desk
