RAWALPINDI: An 11 year old school-goer is all set to give the seasoned singers of Pakistan a run for their money.

Nehaal Naseem, a sixth grader at the Army Public School in Rawalpindi, is a gifted child and Pakistani maestro Shuja Haider is ready to give her the exposure her talent deserves.

In a video shared by Shuja Haider, the 11 year old Nehaal is seen singing the OST for Pakistani drama Mann Mayal effortlessly.

With a voice that defies her tender years, the little girl has been singing since the age of 5 and has won many competitions and accolades.

“I really want to become an army doctor but I love singing. So if I get a chance to become a professional singer, I will not hold back,” Nehaal said, adding that her favourite Pakistani singers were Atif Aslam and Humaira Arshad.

The singing prodigy has the undying support of her parents “If her heart lies in singing, we will support her through thick and thin,” her mother said, revealing that Shuja Haider had called them and even expressed the desire to work with the young girl. --SAMAA
