After claims about chopping off Fawad Khan’s role from Karan Johar’s big-budget film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil made rounds, latest reports have laid such claims to rest stating categorically Fawad’s role is to remain intact in the film.
When Indian nationalist party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) after driving Pakistani artistes out of Bollywood, reportedly issued threats to Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt saying that they would beat them up if they continue to work with Pakistani artists, also threatening to physically assault Pakistani artistes, the filmmakers held their ground against the Hindu right-wing party and submitted the film to the Indian censor board for review.
Indian media then reported that apart from deleting three intimate scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchcan, the board had made no other changes to the movie.
“There are no cuts being made to the film. No changes of any sort, as being reported. The film will release on October 28,” the publication quoted a source. –SAMAA/Agencies
