Ranbir Kapoor, in a candid interview with renowned journalist Rajeev Masand, has reportedly opened up about past relationships and career choices like never before.

The actor, known for evading prying questions and keeping his personal life as tight under the wraps as can be, made some startling revelations in the interview as shown in the promos, about what has probably been the lowest ebb in his life so far.

Speaking about his career and recent flops at the interview, the 33-year-old actor said, “I would be lying if I’d say my confidence is not affected.” The star further admitted that “actors are insecure, actors are a bit worrisome” when their movies don’t perform well on box-office.

With his love life in shambles after things with now ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif headed south, he proclaims, “It was really punctured by lot of things. By baseless rumours and reports and perceptions and point of views.”

A further probe into whether it was hard for him, he even admits, “It hurt because I think after my parents, she has been the most influential, motivational entity in my life.”

The complete interview will be released tonight.

The actor will next be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which release 28th October this year. –SAMAA
