RAWALPINDI: The Banking Court here on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over incomplete challan against model Ayyan Ali in the money laundering case and directed the investigation team to present complete challan in the next hearing on May 8.
The Special Banking Court Judge Sabir Sultan directed the investigation officer to present full challan on the next hearing.
Ayyan's lawyer Sardar Ishaq objected that the presented charge-sheet pertaining to her case was incomplete, whereby a complete map of the crime scene was not provided.
Customs officials however, ascertained that a map was not provided by their department and that according to their procedures, the charge-sheet was complete.
Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad as the model was caught with $508,000 which she was allegedly smuggling to Dubai. – APP
