LAHORE: Pakistan’s renowned film director Hassan Tariq’s twenty-eighth death anniversary was observed on April 24, SAMAA reported early Monday.
He was born in Amritsar in 1927. He features among the most distinguished film directors of the Pakistani film industry, SAMAA reported.
He directed his first feature film in 1959 and till his death in 1982, he made around 40 films which include some of the most remarkable films of Pakistan like Neend, Banjarin, Shikwa, Kaneez, Dever Bhabhi, Anjuman, Tehzeeb, Umrao Jan Ada, Ek Gunah Aur Sahi and Sangdil.
He was once married to the famous film actress Rani.
He died on April 24th, 1982 at Lahore. Nation misses him since his death. SAMAA
