LONDON: Jennifer Aniston and Hollywood's latest darling Gerard Butler set tongues wagging with 'are they or aren't they' rumors flying on the red carpet Thursday (11 MARCH 2010) night, as the actors attended the gala premiere of their new film 'The Bounty Hunter.'
Recent reports on celebrity gossip sites and magazines have suggested the two single actors may just be more than friends, and even director Andy Tennant ('Hitch' and 'Sweet Home Alabama') was gushing about the sexy pair on the red carpet:
“The three of us had dinner and immediately there were sparks between them. They're two gorgeous people and two single people and I felt like the dad,” Tennant told The Associated Press adding “they're sexy and funny which is a combination I don't think you can find that much in Hollywood.”
The pair also did little to quash the rumors, joking about the size of Butler's manhood on the red carpet in London:
“How did Gerry measure up?” Said Aniston looking over at her co-star, as he made size references to his manhood with his hands. “Let's be kind Gerry,” Jennifer offered moving the actors hands further apart.
'The Bounty Hunter' sees Butler take on the role of Milo Boyd, a bounty hunter who lands the job of bringing in his ex-wife Nicole Hurly (Aniston), but the job turns out to be more than he had bargained for when in game of cat and mouse the pair both end up on the run for their lives.
Just don't call it a rom-com says the Scottish star:
“It didn't ever feel like a romantic comedy to me,” Butler said on the red carpet. “It was full of action, it's pretty hard edged, you're always surprised at the length these two will go to to mess each other up. There are a lot of fun and exciting moments in it. It reminded me more of 'Midnight Run' and 'War of The Roses' something like that. There are a lot of shitty things they do to each other. So yeah, action comedy.”
'Bounty Hunter' opens in the UK on 17 March 2010. AGENCIES.
