Balochi dishes are famous not only among Baloch people but also getting acclaimed across Pakistan. Such dishes are available in all regions of Pakistan, especially on some famous restaurants, but here is the recipe for you to make this traditional dish at home add flavor to your iftar.
How to make Balochi Mutton Karahi:
Cooking Oil half cup
Ginger & Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Whole Hot Spices 5 g
Whole Red Chili 3 pieces
Green Chili Crushed 2 pieces
Cumin 1 tsp
Red Chili Crushed 1 tbsp
Black Pepper Crushed 1 tsp
Tomato 4 pieces
Almonds & Cashew Crushed 2 tbsp
Hot Water 1 glass
Ginger, Coriander, Green Chili for garnishing
In a Kitchen King’s pressure cooker, add cooking oil, mutton, ginger & garlic paste, onion, salt, whole hot spices, whole red chili, green chili, cumin, red chili crushed, black pepper crushed, tomato, almonds & cashew crushed and cook it for 5-7 minutes.
Now, add hot water and steam it for 20-25 minutes. In the end, add ginger, coriander, green chili for garnishing.
