Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz expressed optimism on Wednesday that her party will win the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.

Addressing the public gathering in Narowal, Maryam said, ‘’Those who had orchestrated conspiracies against Nawaz Sharif have reached their home. Today, Nawaz Sharif is standing like the lion.’’

At the outset of the speech, Maryam said, ‘’I am quite delighted to have reached Narowal. I want to praise you [masses] for standing with the PML-N.”

Speaking about former planning minister Ahsan Iqbal, Maryam said, “Where are those who have inflicted pain on Ahsan Iqbal? Ahsan Iqbal had to bear the brunt of serving.’’

‘’It is up to you to decide whether you want a petrol bomb or employment,’’ Maryam said.

She took a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTi), saying, “The fitna was imposed to harm the country.’’

– Vote for PML-N to witness prosperity –

Few days back, Maryam asked people to vote for her party to witness prosperity in the country.

Addressing the public gathering in Sialkot, Maryam said, ‘’The PML-N had served Sialkot in a real context, and that is why the people of Silakot love the party. It is your [masses] fate to uplift.’’

She lavished her praise on the people of Sialkot, saying, ‘’We are thankful to Sialkot as the people of the city are quite loyal.’’

‘’It is your [masses] fate to progress, get scholarships, and seek education in colleges and universities. However, holding sticks and petrol bombs is not your fate,’’ said Maryam.
