Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif’s nomination papers were submitted from NA-242 Karachi on Saturday.
Aslam Khattak had submitted the former prime minister’s nomination papers.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif, in his message for the people of Karachi, said, “We will construct roads and educational institutions for the people of Karachi if voted into power. Karachi will also develop the way Lahore has progressed.”
He vowed to create employment opportunities for the people of Karachi.

Recounting the contributions made by the PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif said: “It was the PML-N who launched the projects like Green Line and K-4 for the people of Karachi.”

Earlier on Friday, PML-N leader retired Captain Safdar Awan said that the country will become the “Asian Tiger” under the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Expressing his thoughts in Mansehra, Awan said: “Nawaz Sharif has the key to leading the country towards prosperity.”
He stated, “The Muslim world leader and country’s next premier will be the MNA from Mansehra.
