Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Rana Sanaullah recalled on Sunday that petrol was available at Rs 65 per litre in 2017.
Addressing the public gathering in Faisalabad, the former interior minister recounted the previous tenure of the PML-N. "We addressed the power outages’ problems and ended the menace of terrorism in 2017.”.
He underscored the importance of the Christian community in his victory. ‘The Christian community has played a vital role in my victory in the 2018 general elections,” Sanaullah said.
"There was a time in 2012–13 when noted businesspersons refused to travel in the country, but rather to Dubai," he added.

“But in 2017, the world started to acknowledge that the country had addressed all the problems,” Sanaullah said.
– PML-N has nothing to do with inflation –
PML-N senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said on Friday that his party had nothing to do with the inflation in the country.
Speaking to the media in Narowal, the former planning minister alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) government was to blame for the ballooning inflation in the country. "The ministry of planning and development has nothing to do with inflation."
He was of the view that the country was moving forward gradually.
Iqbal underscored the potential of the country's youth. He vowed to provide the loans to the youth if his party was voted into power.
He asserted, "Narowal is the stronghold of the PML-N."
