Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that his party will uplift Khyber Pakhtunkhwa if voted into the power.

PML-N leaders Amir Muqam and Murtaza Javed Abbasi called on the former premier. On this occasion, matters in line with the general elections were underlined.

Shehbaz Sharif praised the party leadership for putting up efforts to mobilise in KP.

“It is unfortunate that KP did not witness prosperity for the last 10 years,” he rued.

He also commended the sacrifices rendered by the people of KP in a bid to end the menace of terrorism.

– Vows to foster country’s economy –

Few days back, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif expressed his resolve to foster the country’s economy under the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-N senior leaders, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Sanaullah, Raja Riaz, and Sardar Awais Leghari, called on Shehbaz Sharif. On the occasion, matters pertaining to the party’s organisational affairs and preparations for the general elections were underlined.

Shehbaz Sharif was briefed on the PML-N’s preparation in different constituencies ahead of the polls.

Expressing his thoughts, Shehbaz Sharif asserted, “The PML-N is having an experience of providing relief to the masses and steering the country out of the quagmire.”

The former prime minister underscored the potential of the country’s youth, saying, “There is a dire need to inculcate the skills and enlighten the country’s youth.”

He vowed to steer the country in the right direction under the leadership of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. “We will start again the journey of the country’s prosperity.”
