Strong and cool evening winds eased the intensity of the heat in Lahore, while light rain in several parts of the city made the weather pleasant.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, light rain and drizzle were recorded in Model Town, Gulberg, Liberty Chowk, Jail Road and adjoining areas, after which the weather turned pleasant.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Lahore’s temperature was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, while winds were continuing to blow at a speed of 15 kilometres per hour.
The Met Office said strong winds and intermittent rain are likely to continue in Lahore until May 23.
