Pakistan’s cricket calendar is set for another busy stretch as the national team prepares to tour Bangladesh twice in the coming months.
After the T20 World Cup, Pakistan will head to Dhaka for a three-match ODI series before returning in May for a two-Test series following the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The back-to-back assignments underline growing cricketing ties between the two sides and promise competitive action for fans in Bangladesh.
According to sources, Pakistan will travel to Bangladesh immediately after the T20 World Cup for a three-match One-Day International series.
All three ODIs will be played in Dhaka on March 12, 14 and 16. The series is expected to provide crucial 50-over exposure for both teams as they look to strengthen their squads in the format.
Test series after PSL
Pakistan will return to Bangladesh once again after the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). A two-match Test series has been scheduled for May.
The first Test will be played in Dhaka from May 8 to 12, while the second Test is set to take place in Chittagong from May 16 to 20.
With limited turnaround time between formats, team management will likely focus on squad rotation and preparation as Pakistan transitions from white-ball cricket in March to red-ball action in May.
