The Supreme Court has disposed of the matter concerning the health and jail conditions of PTI founder Imran Khan, declaring his living arrangements, food, medical care and security satisfactory.
A seven-page written order from the February 12 hearing, headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan, outlined the court’s findings after reviewing multiple reports.
The two-member bench ruled that, based on the reports submitted, the issue relating to the PTI founder’s health and living conditions in jail has effectively been resolved.
The court observed that the orders issued on August 23 and 24, 2023, had been implemented in light of the reports of the amicus curiae and the superintendent of Adiala Jail. As a result, the matter concerning the founder’s living conditions was declared ineffective.
