Fans faced disappointment as once again, neither Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav nor Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha exchanged handshakes during the toss of the 27th match of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Colombo on Sunday.
Salman Ali Agha confirmed that no changes had been made to the Pakistan team. “All attention is on the match, and all players are relaxed,” Salman Ali Agha added.
Meanwhile, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav stated that two changes had been made to the Indian team with the inclusion of Abhishek Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav. “We will strive to play according to our skills,” the Indian captain said.
“We had initially wished to bat first,” Suryakumar Yadav added.
