The opposition’s sit-in inside Parliament House entered its second consecutive day, with lawmakers spending the night in corridors amid tight security and closed entrances.
The protest, jointly by the PTI and Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz Ain-e-Pakistan is centered on growing concerns over the eye health of PTI founder Imran Khan.
Opposition members continued their protest for a second day inside Parliament House after authorities blocked all entrances to the building. Due to the sealed gates, members were unable to access even basic facilities, including breakfast.
Lawmakers reportedly spent the night sitting on chairs and mats in the corridors of Parliament House. Members expressed concern over the lack of arrangements inside the premises.
Police and the administration maintained strict security measures, restricting entry to Parliament House and stopping media personnel from approaching the area.

Health concerns over Imran Khan
The central issue driving the protest is PTI’s concern over the reported eye problem of party founder Imran Khan. The party is demanding his immediate transfer to a hospital for proper medical treatment.
According to sources, a senior government figure contacted Barrister Gohar Ali Khan late last night. Sources also claim that a panel of doctors has been informed to form a medical examination team to assess Imran Khan’s eye condition.
Important progress regarding his medical evaluation is expected soon, sources said.
