Renowned naatkhwan Tabinda Lari has passed away after a battle with a heart ailment, hospital authorities confirmed on Thursday.
She was receiving treatment at the National Institute of Cardiology.
Family and hospital sources stated that Tabinda Lari had been suffering from a heart condition for several days. Despite ongoing medical care, her condition deteriorated, leading to her demise.
Funeral arrangements
The funeral prayers for Tabinda Lari will be offered today after Isha prayers at Masjid Farooq Azam in North Nazimabad, Karachi. Family, friends, and admirers are expected to attend to pay their last respects.
Tabinda Lari was widely recognized for her soulful recitations of Naats, leaving an indelible mark on Pakistan’s religious and cultural landscape. Her contributions to the art of Naat have inspired countless followers and young Naat Khawans.
