New orders have been issued for retired PIA employees regarding pension collection.
According to the circular, registration with the insurance company is mandatory for medical facilities, and a pension bank account must be opened for pension collection. A certificate based on confirmation of having a pension bank account from the relevant bank must also be submitted.
The statement said that the retired employees who retired on or before September 30, 2023 must comply with the orders by February 15. For registration, employees must visit PIA medical centres with their national identity card for biometric verification.
According to the circular, retired employees who do not register will not receive facilities at PIA medical centres. Employees who retired on or before 30 September 2023 must provide details of their pension bank account.
