Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi has welcomed the government’s decision to withdraw the boycott of the India match in the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2026 fixture, scheduled for February 15.
“My position has always been that the Pakistan-India match should take place. The government has made a very good decision. Cricket should happen.”
“When people sit down, solutions are found,” he added.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan off-spinner Tauseef Ahmed said that everyone saw how people came to Pakistan. Some events occurred that forced us to take a stand,” he said.
