Huawei is gearing up to unveil its latest foldable smartphone, the Pura X2, in China around March. Recent leaks reveal significant upgrades in display, performance, and storage compared to its predecessor.
Bigger inner and cover displays
The Huawei Pura X2 is expected to feature a 7.69‑inch inner display with WQHD+ resolution, providing a more immersive experience for multitasking and media consumption. Its outer cover display will measure 5.5 inches, a substantial increase from the original Pura X, which had a 6.3‑inch inner screen and a 3.5‑inch cover display.
Enhanced performance and camera
Powering the Pura X2 is likely Huawei’s Kirin 9030 chipset, promising faster performance and improved efficiency. The foldable will reportedly include a telephoto camera, although further camera details remain under wraps.
Impressive memory and storage
Leaked information suggests the Pura X2 could support up to 20GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, making it one of Huawei’s most powerful foldables. The device is expected to run HarmonyOS 6.1, offering a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Color options and availability
The Pura X2 may launch in a variety of colors, including blue, black, green, orange, purple, and white, catering to a wide range of tastes. While Huawei has not officially confirmed the launch date, the foldable smartphone is anticipated to debut in China around March 2026.
