Lahore Qalandars have made a major move ahead of the 11th Pakistan Super League (PSL) season, securing Bangladeshi left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman through a direct signing worth Rs64.4 million.
The signing strengthens Qalandars’ bowling arsenal as the PSL expands to eight teams this year.
The experienced international pacer, known for his deadly cutters and consistent performances in T20 cricket, will be a key addition to Lahore Qalandars’ pace lineup. The franchise confirmed the direct signing, signaling their intent to dominate the bowling department in the upcoming season.
This season will mark a major expansion of the Pakistan Super League, growing from six to eight teams. Hyderabad and Sialkot Stallionz are the newest franchises and will make their PSL debut in 2026, increasing the competitiveness and excitement of the league.
The 11th edition of the PSL is scheduled to start on March 26 and will conclude on May 3, with fans across the country eagerly anticipating thrilling matches, new rivalries, and standout performances from international stars like Mustafizur Rahman.
