Brooklyn Beckham has taken another dramatic step in his ongoing family feud, reportedly removing a tattoo tribute to his father David Beckham.
The move comes amid a growing rift between the eldest son and his famous parents.
Reports from The Sun suggest Brooklyn has redesigned his large anchor tattoo on his upper right arm, which previously included the word “dad” and David Beckham’s nickname “Bust.”
New images appear to show the tattoo now featuring three nondescript shapes, with the personalized nickname faded or removed entirely. This alteration is seen as a symbolic move amid the ongoing family drama.
Background
The Beckham family has largely remained silent since Brooklyn made a public statement in January. In a lengthy Instagram post on January 12, the 26-year-old claimed he was “controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else.”
Brooklyn further stated that he felt forced to speak for himself to counter what he described as “lies that have been printed” in the press. He also revealed he had no intention to reconcile with his parents at the time.
Tensions over personal life
Brooklyn accused David and Victoria Beckham of attempting to interfere in his personal life, particularly around his marriage to Nicola Peltz. He claimed their actions have been ongoing and have not ceased despite public appearances and media statements.
The tattoo removal appears to be a personal statement reflecting his desire for independence and a stand against perceived control by his family.
