Highlighting the forensic report’s findings, the counsel of the plaintiff emphasized that a divorce decree had been communicated via WhatsApp, adding a layer of complexity to the case.

Prosecutor Rana Hassan Abbas bolstered the case by pointing out the deletion of three crucial messages in the chat history between the victim and the accused, potentially linked to discussions about divorce.

The gravity of the proceedings intensified as Samina Amir Shah, the accused’s mother, delivered a chilling testimony, implicating her son in the murder. Furthermore, the damning evidence of bloodstains discovered on Shahnawaz Amir's shirt and hands at the crime scene added weight to the allegations against him.
