Vivo is set to unveil its new flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 Max and Vivo X300 Ultra, in China, with a debut expected in March and a possible global launch in the second quarter of this year.
At the same time, attention is already shifting to the company’s next-generation lineup, the Vivo X500 and X500 Pro. Reports indicate that Vivo may skip the X400 series entirely, with the X500 series anticipated to arrive around September or October. Early leaks have also hinted at the possibility of an Ultra variant in the X500 lineup.
The Vivo X500 Ultra could launch sooner than expected, though details about its design, specifications, and camera setup remain under wraps. Industry sources suggest that upcoming Ultra devices from major Chinese brands, including the X500 Ultra, could feature Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 or Gen 6 Pro chipsets, solidifying their position as high-performance flagships.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Ultra is generating buzz as one of the heaviest Ultra devices in Vivo’s lineup, hinting at a hardware-rich build. It is expected to launch in March, featuring dual 200-megapixel cameras, a new-generation Zeiss lens coating, and a redesigned zoom lens system. Reports suggest the device will excel in low-light photography, emphasizing its focus on advanced imaging capabilities.
The upcoming X300 Ultra event will also see the launch of the Vivo X300 Max and Vivo’s first action camera, though details about the latter are limited. The X300 Max is rumored to include a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K display, a Dimensity 9500 processor, a 7,000mAh battery, and a 200-megapixel triple-camera system.
Overall, Vivo’s upcoming launches highlight the brand’s continued focus on high-performance hardware, cutting-edge photography, and next-generation mobile technology.
