Former Australia captain Tim Paine has expressed enthusiasm after being appointed head coach of the Pakistan Super League’s newest franchise, Sialkot Stallionz, ahead of the league’s 11th edition.
Paine will lead the Stallionz in their maiden appearance in the PSL, which is scheduled to be held from March 26 to May 3. In a video message shared on the franchise’s official social media platforms, Paine spoke about the opportunity to guide a new side in the competition.

He said he was pleased to be part of a new franchise and described the challenge of building a team from the ground up as a rewarding prospect. Paine also highlighted his admiration for the Pakistan Super League, praising the standard of cricket and the passion of local supporters.
Paine said that he had followed the tournament for several years and remained impressed by the depth of talent on display.
He hinted at forthcoming announcements related to both Sialkot Stallionz and the league, urging supporters to follow official updates.
