Prince William has developed a close bond with his wife Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole, describing her as a “second mother” and a key source of emotional support.
The Prince of Wales often seeks her advice and cherishes her presence in his life, highlighting the Middletons’ influence on the royal family.
Former Royal butler Grant Harold revealed to Heart Bingo Online that William has always maintained a warm relationship with both of Kate’s parents, especially Carole Middleton.
“When I was working with the family, he used to go and spend weekends at their house, which I know he really enjoyed,” Harold said. He added that the Middleton family offered William a sense of normality during his 20s and 30s.
Carole Middleton: William’s “second mother”
Sources confirm that Prince William hails Carole as a maternal figure in his life. “He would speak to her when anything worries him, and if he wants advice or guidance. It’s always been the way,” Harold explained.
This bond goes beyond casual family visits, showing how William values her wisdom and comfort, particularly as he navigates his responsibilities in the royal family.
William’s respect for the Middletons is evident in key family decisions. Harold noted that the Prince insisted on inviting the Middletons to King Charles’ coronation, signaling the family’s importance to him.
“The Middletons are a warm and welcoming family, and I believe they will be a strong support to the Royal Family going forward,” Harold said.
