The popular 2003 blockbuster film Tere Naam, starring Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla, is set to return to cinemas for a limited time, with its re-release schedule now officially announced.
Film lovers and Salman Khan’s fans will once again get the chance to relive the film’s romance, heart-wrenching scenes, and unforgettable music on the big screen.
Indian cinema chains PVR and INOX have formally announced the re-release of Tere Naam. In a statement shared on social media, they also revealed the release date.
Expectations surrounding the re-release are high, as it is believed that the film will not only attract fans who watched it during its original release but also younger audiences who have only seen it on television or streaming platforms and would now be eager to experience it in cinemas.
In an Instagram statement, PVR and INOX said that the month of February will celebrate love, inviting audiences to experience different shades of romance through blockbuster films exclusively at PVR and INOX cinemas.
According to the announcement, Tere Naam will be re-released on February 27. Alongside it, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s Devdas will hit cinemas again on February 6, while Ajay Devgn’s Yuva is scheduled for re-release on February 20.
Even after more than two decades, Tere Naam remains fresh in the memories of audiences due to its popular songs, iconic dialogues, and Salman Khan’s memorable performance as Radhe.
Indian media reports state that the re-release of Tere Naam is part of a broader trend in Bollywood, under which classic films starring Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, and Vivek Oberoi are also being brought back to cinemas.
