A decision on whether the Pakistan cricket team will take part in the ICC T20 World Cup is expected today (Sunday).
Sources divulged that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi is expected to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today. A final decision is likely to be made today following the meeting with the Prime Minister.
The unveiling of the World Cup kit will take place after a decision on participation is made, sources added. If Pakistan does not take part in the World Cup, a Plan B has already been prepared, sources said.
Under the alternative plan, the Pakistan Shaheens and the Under-19 team will be divided into four teams, and a tournament will be held in Lahore, according to sources.
