Xavier Bartlett says Pakistan outclassed Australia in 2nd T20I
Australian fast bowler Xavier Bartlett said that Pakistan’s batting and bowling outclassed Australia in the second T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.
At a press conference, Bartlett said that Pakistan outplayed them in both batting and bowling. He added that Pakistan’s performance in the powerplay was so strong that it took the match away from Australia.
He said that their spinners bowled well and that these conditions were new to Australia, adding that the series was providing Australia with a lot to learn ahead of the World Cup.
Bartlett said he did not know what Cameron Green had signalled after his dismissal. He said that the conditions were difficult, and that all spinners, including Shadab Khan, bowled well.
He said that credit should be given to the Pakistan team for playing well, adding that they had known they would face spin in the series and that pitches in Pakistan were different from those in Australia.
