Renowned Pakistani actor and comedian Ahmed Ali Butt has criticised Indian writer and poet Javed Akhtar, stating that one cannot expect respect from Indians.
Recently, during an episode of his podcast, Ahmed Ali Butt criticised Javed Akhtar, saying that he is among those Indian artists who have lost their dignity.
Ahmed Ali Butt remarked that another Indian artist who has lost his respect is Javed Akhtar, adding that he now feels Akhtar has become a ‘stain on art’.
He said that Javed Akhtar visited Pakistan last year and was treated with great respect, yet despite this, he went on to make several statements against Pakistan.
The actor stated that he has come to the conclusion that respect cannot be expected from Indians, nor do they deserve it.
He further said that he is generally a peaceful person, but when someone is shown immense respect and responds with hatred, then such a person deserves to be trolled.
