Newly inducted Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Sialkot Stallionz have announced the appointment of former Australian captain Tim Paine as head coach ahead of their debut in the league’s 11th edition.
In an official statement issued on Thursday, the franchise termed Paine as a proven leader with experience at the highest level of international cricket and expressed confidence in his ability to guide the team in its inaugural campaign.

Earlier, Sialkot Stallionz team management termed Tim Paine’s appointment a key step towards future success. Sources said his coaching is expected to bring a noticeable improvement in the team’s overall performance.
Tim Paine represented Australia in all three formats of the game. He featured in 35 Test matches, scoring 1,534 runs, while also appearing in 35 ODIs and 12 T20Is during his international career.
