Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone conversation to discuss regional security, ongoing tensions, and cooperation among Islamic countries.
During the call, President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has always welcomed efforts to prevent war and promote peace within the framework of international law. He stressed that unity among Islamic nations is essential for lasting stability in the region, and that regional instability serves no country’s interests.
Pezeshkian also warned against political and military actions that could threaten regional security and reiterated Iran’s commitment to contributing constructively toward long-term peace in the Middle East.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed that Riyadh rejects any form of aggression or escalation against Iran. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sustainable peace and stability in the region.
The Crown Prince added that Saudi Arabia is ready to cooperate with Iran to strengthen regional security and prioritizes resolving issues through dialogue.
Both leaders agreed that dialogue, cooperation, and joint strategies are essential to maintaining peace and stability across the Middle East.
