A new report reveals that Apple is planning to unveil a redesigned Siri assistant at an upcoming event next month.
The latest version of Apple’s digital assistant will be powered by Google’s Gemini AI model, following a recently finalized agreement between the two tech giants.
According to Bloomberg, the Siri update will roll out with iOS 16.4. Beta testing is expected to begin in the second half of February, with a public release planned for March or April.
Under this multi-year collaboration, Google’s Gemini will be integrated into Apple’s foundation models, which the company says will introduce new experiences for users.
